Dubai Based Indian Akbar Saheb Artist Pays Tribute To Visionary Leaders, Gulf Today, 2013

A painting exhibition"Tribute to the Legends" by a Dubai-based Indian artist Akbar Saheb, about the Father of the UAE and Father of India, held in Cultural Centre, RAK recently. Sheikh Sultan Bin JamalAl Qassimi inaugurated the event. Thushar Vellap-pally (SNDP Yogam, Vice President) was also there to grace the event, apart from many other dignitaries. Talking to the media, Akbar said, "I have paid a loving homage to Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan through 38 paintings, each of which symbolises a year of the late President's glorious rule."
