Folio 80v: Manuchihr Welcomes Sam but Orders War upon Mihrab

Following his arrival at the imperial court, Sam recounts his military victories and is feted by Manuchihr. The next day Manuchihr refuses to speak of Rudaba and Zal and instead orders Sam to set out immediately on a mission to attack and destroy Mihrab’s palace and the surrounding city of Kabul.
