Folio 30v: Zahhak slays the sacred cow Barmayah

Soon after the birth of Faridun, Zahhak finds the boy's family and kills his father. The bov's mother escapes with her baby but delivers him to a cowherd, who feeds Faridun with the milk ofhis cow, Birmaya. After three vears Zahhak tracks down the cow and slays her, but Faridun has already Hed to safety.
