Modi-Inspired Paintings by Dubai Artist Akbar Saheb Find New Venue After VadFest Denial Dubai-based artist Akbar Saheb , inspired by the life and journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi , created a series of twelve paintings that were originally scheduled to be exhibited at VadFest . However, permission for the exhibition was denied, and the show was halted at the last moment. Undeterred, the exhibition was relocated to Kalanidhi Art Gallery in Vadodara, where it garnered attention from both the public and distinguished guests. One standout piece—a symbolic portrayal of Modi behind bars—generated particular buzz for its bold visual language. On January 23rd, Akbar gave an interview in Vadodara and later presented one of his paintings to Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel during a meeting at the Circuit House. She viewed the full catalogue of paintings and praised Akbar’s work for its depth and dedication to Modi’s legacy. The exhibition also drew the interest of international guests. Israeli Consul General David Akov visited the gallery to view the paintings, along with Charlie Adams , the renowned drummer best known for his work with Yanni. Their presence added a global note of recognition to the event. Despite the initial setback at VadFest, Akbar Saheb’s paintings ultimately found appreciation and acknowledgment—affirming that powerful art always finds its way to the spotlight.
