'  Then—finally: 'Ah, hey, I kind of like it now. Yes! That’s what I had in mind!'       And all I did was   free the angel . Disturbance showcases  visions of   Daedalus 9: The Labyrintheum — my dream house—inspired by the tragic yet heroic story of the mythical ancient Greek architect, inventor of the Labyrinth and Wings . . .    The myth of Daedalus also plays a central role in several of my other books, including  my 2022  avant-garde  sci-fi graphic AI   novel,  Call Me Daedalus , created by my alter ego Michelangelo A. ROLAND SLATE,  CALL ME DAEDALUS "WRITING IS A VISUAL ART.  A WRITER BUILDS A LIGHTHOUSE OF INSIGHTS  ON AN ISLAND OF ENCHANTMENT  THROUGH THE MAGIC ARCHITECTURE OF WORDS,  PIERCING THE FOG WITH THE BEAM OF TRUTH."  ― Michelangelo A. Roland Slate View my  Amazon author's bio _______________________________________________________________________________________ *Carl Sagan's full quote, which I include in my essay, " Magic Show . " “What an astonishing thing a book is. It’s a flat object made from a tree with flexible parts on which are imprinted lots of  funny dark squiggles. But one glance at it and you’re inside the mind of another person, maybe somebody dead for thousands of years.  "Across the millennia, an author is speaking clearly and silently inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people who never knew each other, citizens of distant epochs. Books break the shackles of time. A book is proof that humans are capable of working magic.” _______________________________________________________________________________________ The Real Quest The quest is not to reach everyone. The quest is to reach the ones who recognize the truth— the Neos— wherever they are, across time and place. To place signals in the world that only certain minds can fully receive. . . . . . . . . . . . Books as: beacons coordinates architectural markers If I create them, the Neos will find them. _______________________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________________________ To explore my entire Legacy Labyrinth — its major galleries, special worlds, and secret chambers — go to: Legacy Labyrinth: Doorway to the Stars Links HQ: Navigation | About   Internet Archive Home _______________________________________________________________________________________ JEF 7 REY HILDNER   | ARCHITECT
