Folio 50v: Manuchihr at the Court of Faridun

Iraj is survived by a daughter, born after his death. When she reaches maturity, she marries a cousin of Faridun and bears a son, Manuchihr. When the child comes ofage, Faridun places him on a golden throne, assembles all the notables ofthe kingdom to pay him homage, and announces that he will lead the campaign against his grandfathers murderers.
