Elod Pal Csirmaz Comfort “Comfort” features a soft knitted sun against a dark backdrop whose yarn dangles down forming its reflection on water. The sunset over the water creates a calm but vibrant environment, and the dangling yarn can playfully continue beyond the border of the canvas to connect the outside to the landscape withing. Inspired by my love of knitting, it contrast the cold darkness to the soft, warm, glowing star. Acrylic and yarn on canvas (knitted) 16″ x 20″ (40.5cm x 51cm) 2023
