When Dubai painter Akbar Saheb was denied an audience with Narendra Modi last week, he had given up all hopes of ever meeting the leader. However, four days after XPRESS wrote about his anguish in its August 13 edition, Saheb got a call from the Indian ambassador to the UAE, T.P. Seetharam, asking him to come to Abu Dhabi to meet the Indian prime minister "I still can't get over that call as it keeps ringing in my head," recalled Saheb.
