Excavated (1907-1910 or 1913) in the 'Magazine of the Lily Vases' at Knossos.Lilies were a popular decorative element on Late Minoan pottery. It is likely that the Minoan artist who painted this vase was inspired by monumental wall paintings.The original is in the Herakleion Archaeological Museum, Crete.
