A dress of red and blue cotton worn by women and richly decorated at the front with in the center a row of birds on buteh flanked by trees, plants, peacocks and suns with faces. There are also trees, birds, fish, dogs and various flowers. The side panels of the dress are decorated with a similar variety of animals, fish and plants, plus stylized embroidered human figures with trays, flowers, birds (peacocks, roosters), dogs, fish and several times the motif of the sun with human face. The black side panels are decorated with animals (dogs) and birds on both sides of a strip of plants in the middle. The cuffs are decorated with plants, birds and in the middle a motif of bird in a tree. One sleeve is also decorated with a piece of machine printed cotton with a design of yellow, red, pink and green stylized buteh and foliage on a red background. The shape of the dress is characteristic of Zoroastrian dresses. It appears as if this is a wedding dress. (GVE, 2002)
