White cotton quechquemitl that is worn over a blouse or huipil. Depending on region and culture, the points are either worn on the belly or over the arms. \The quechquemitl is a pre-Columbian garment, which can be deduced from archeological findings. Originally, the quechquemitl was reserved for the highest social class; other ladies wore the huipil, a long, blouse-like garment with armholes.\Two rectangular, presumably machine-woven pieces have been sewn together to create a sort of small poncho. The whole is further embroidered in running stitch with mainly floral motifs.
