Material: hand-spun white cottonTechnique: plain woven on and pile weave and knotted. Made on a hip loom, the servilleta is made entirely of white cotton. By using a thick weft thread in places and pulling it slightly above the fabric, a pattern is created (pile weave). On the servile weave there is a zigzag motif, horses and women. At the ends, the threads are knotted (macramé) and end in small fringes. This servilleta was purchased from the owner.Servilletas are multi-purpose cloths that protect the wearer from the sun or cold, as well as being used to carry all sorts of items.
