A hipster cloth made of woven cotton. The cloth consists of two strips of coarse but supple fabric sewn together. The weft is partly blue and partly white. The ends of the warp threads are, in bundles of four, interwoven with brown, white and blue threads to create a somewhat solid edge. The warp threads along the edges form several bands and stripes in blue, brown and white. Within that a broad band with pendulum lines in blue, light brown and white, which is intersected by two brown stripes. Then a narrow partition in brown, blue and white. The large central area is filled with five rows of nine concave lozenges, each composed of three bands of small squares in light brown and white. In the centre of the squares is a depiction of the Sumbanese ear decoration, the Mamoeli. At the ends of the center plane on both sides is a band with strongly stylized human figures, then a white band, a band with ear decorations, and a white band with inverted human figures. The ornaments are geïkat.
