Sketch on board, with title "Dinner At Home" written on the back. The annotation "silk jersey" is faintly legible in pencil. A full-length long-sleeved evening dress. Both the bodice and skirt are fully gathered at the waist. The sleeves are closely fitted. The waist is decorated. A smaller sketch shows a Watteau-style back view with a scoop neckline.
