Design Sketch, Tweed Delight
Sybil Connolly (1921 – 1998)
Two sketches on board, with the title "Tweed Delight" written in pencil and on the back in biro. The larger sketch is a knee-length swing coat with raglan full-length sleeves, a pointed collar and bound pockets. The smaller sketch shows a knee-length pinafore belted dress with a V-neck, inverted pleats in the skirt and buttoned welt pockets. The model is shown wearing a polo neck sweater under the pinafore.
