Fragment of Copper alloy looped fastener.Cast toggle of ‘dumb-bell’ form, flattened on reverse where two hollows and a slot between them suggest loss of a separate loop. Abraded overall. This adaptation of a later Iron Age form of toggle to serve as a looped fastener, and its crude moulding, suggest a Romano-British object drawing on native design.Suggested date: 2nd-century.Length: 24.93mm, Max Width: 10.40mm, Max Thickness: 8.82mm. Weight: 11.29mm
