Late Saxon buckle frame, worn and badly corroded in patches, D-shaped with Borre-style animal-head on outside edge and at both ends of the narrowed bar. Iron corrosion on bar and on outside edge from missing pin. Length (unbent) 39mm. Width 30mm. See other Norfolk examples from Little Fransham (NMS-9B0AC7 ) and Fulmodeston (NHER 17342, drawing in file). 10th-11th century.
