Man with large osteo-sarcoma of the right humerus

Watercolour drawing of a male patient, aged 49, with a very large osteo-sarcoma of the right humerus. The tumour had existed for eight years, but had increased very rapidly during the last year. It was removed by amputation at the shoulder joint, and the patient made a good recovery. The limb, with tumour, weighed 33lbs, after removal.
