Watercolour drawing of the front of a man's chest, showing a true keloid of Alibert over the centre of the sternum. The man was a sailor, aged 35, and stated that the keloid commenced to grow without any known cause 12 years previously. A small nodule of a similar nature over the right mammary gland had been noticed for seven months.
