"Kruid Boek getrokken uyt Dodoneaus",- "Herbal extracted from Dodoneaus". 17th century. Hand-coloured drawing of plant (allium genus?) pasted onto Japanese paper. Book is bound in a European fashion. The name of the plant is written in Chinese character and in Latin, with notes in Dutch and transliterations of the Latin and Dutch name into Japanese katakana.
