Watercolour drawing of the face and neck of a boy aged 12 years, with a large sublingual cyst, which formerly had been described as a large ranula. Such it evidently is not. It may be a dermoid cyst, developed in the "mesobranchial area of His" (v paper by Kostanecki and Mielecki in 'Virchow's Archives', vol CXXI p69)
