Lettering: Fig. 1. Ubureduced dislocation of the thigh bone or the dorsum ilii (in a dog.) a new capsule has been formed. The drawing shows the new capsule, and the head of the femur somewhat changed in form. taken ten years after the accident. the dog belonged to Mr Nonial one of the demonstrators of anatomy at St. Bartholomew's hospital, in whose possession the preparation is at present. (N.B. the bones have been macerated & are now in the museum of King's College.) Fig.2. Section of a fractured patella 7 years after the accident. the 2 portions of bone are united by ligament.
