This illustration depicts the condition of dementia by drawing the opened brain of someone suffering from this condition and inserting text to describe their emotional state . The lower half of the brain houses their potential range of feelings like anger or longing, whereas the upper half contains words which express their sporadic whims and anxieties like 'cake' or 'where?' . Dementia is a degenerative neurological condition effecting the elderly and characterised by loss of short-term memory, confusion and in cases uninhibited display of emotions.
