Watercolour drawing of the face of a girl who had herpes frontalis. The eruption is limited to the left side of the face and extends over the anterior third of the scalp. Both eyelids are swollen, the left more so than the right. There was some muco-purulent discharge from the left eye, with some photophobia and lacrymation. The frontal branch of the fifth nerve is alone affected.
