Ironing clamp, consisting of one at both ends sawn log, which has been stripped. The tool was used in window glass blowing, but this specimens are made to complement the Småland Museum collections. The ironing clamp is prepared by former glassworkers at Sol- Urban Stream/Blankaholm Glassy (1920-22). Text as co-- followed the object: "This is a so-called ironing clamp used when drawing windows. It was then fixed on a three metre long steel shaft. When the waltz was laid heated and laid out on the drawing stone, the clamp was used to remove the box smooth after the route. The clamp was kept at the time of use moist. " Inventory 2007-02-22. Inscribed in the Main Catalogue 1978. Function: Used to iron the window pane smooth after the stretch stone
