A piece of coarse undyed linen cloth associated with the mummy of the singer Amun, Khenmemkhonsu. This textile contains many decorative and structural features. Two details have been applied to the textile in red ink. These include a drawing of Ahmose-Nefertari (a former queen who was later deified in the Theban area) as well as a portion of an inscription in two columns. Other characteristics of this textile consist of two intact selvages (outer edges of the original fabric), an end band (ending border), warp fringe, and a self-band (a monochromatic woven stripe that may have served as a maker’s mark).
