The film covers interviews with Florence Sullivan of Townsend, MA; Dorothy Wilder of Ashby, MA; Bessie Stewart of Ashby, MA; and Irene Salminen of Ashby, MA. The film concludes with a segment on the Witch of Pepperell - a quest to learn more about a witch who cursed everyone in N. Pepperell. Topics of the interviews include what life was like growing up in the area (including family life and work mostly farms & mills), education, events, and Finnish heritage for some.
