<I>Bouquet holder, "Kathleen" tooth</I>

Bear’s tooth and silver bouquet holder pin. The vase is comprised of a large canine tooth of a bear with silver mounts. The upper portion is scalloped with embossed decoration surrounding a panel engraved with the name “Kathleen.” Above this are teardrop-shaped loops of silver surrounding a silver lobed orb. The tip of the tooth is also covered in an embossed mouth. At the end is a short length of chain connected to a floral pin. The pin would be inserted through the vase to pierce the stems of a bouquet in order to secure the flowers inside the holder.
