<I>Bouquet holder, cornucopia, figures</I>

Silver bouquet holder in cornucopia shape. The holder has a flared lip and intricate design with interspersed turquois glass stones. On the body of the holder there are religious figures of the cross in medieval doorways and of the fleur de lis. Worked into the designs are the four winds, the sign of a journey. The bottom of the cornucopia is capped with the face of a king's jester. Near the tail end of the holder is a band encircled with stones and connected to a short length of chain attached to a floral pin. The pin would be inserted through the vase to pierce the stems of a bouquet in order to secure the flowers inside the holder.
