<I>Bouquet holder, gothic four-sided, turquoise handle</I>

Bouquet holder with vase of gilded sheet brass and glass handle. The vase of the bouquet holder is fabricated from a single sheet of gilded brass that has been shaped into four panels. Each panel has a hand engraved and pierce-cut geometric shape and stylized flower opening in the Gothic Revival Style. The edges of each panel are stamped with a zigzag seam. Near the base of the vase, round-link chain connected to a thick floral pin is attached. This pin would be inserted through holes on opposite joins near the top of the vase in order to secure a bouquet within the holder. A band stamped with an alternating pattern of different textured chevrons wraps around the band that connects the vase and handle. The spindle-shaped handle is composed of opaque turquoise glass.
