Gilded bouquet holder with enamel handle. The elaborate stamped metal vase features a pierced design with four flat small medallions surrounded by leaves and curlicues. The neck, which connects the vase to the handle features four bands with alternating enamel and textured surfaces. The straight tapered handle is made of blue enamel on copper with silver and gold paillons in designs around the stem, which recalls the French porcelain designs produced in the eighteenth century. The handle would have been capped with a gilded metal finial, however it is no longer present.
