Silver-plated copper bouquet holder with baluster handle. The openwork vase design is comprised of large leaves with small pear-shaped fruits. The neck, which connects the vase to the handle, is concave and has a short length of chain connected to ring attached. The ring would allow the bouquet holder to be worn from the finger or on a chatelaine at the waist to free the lady's hands while dancing. The spindle handle is in the form of a straight shaft with swells and indented registers. Stylized leaf motifs are engraved around the handle.
