Leonard (1927-2011) and Jeanette Leonard (1933-1969), who were collectors of early trade silver; donated by Dr. Leonard to the Museum of the Fur Trade (Chadron, Nebraska) in 1969 or 1970; acquired by MAI through an exchange with the Museum of the Fur Trade in 1970.
