A JR-1B mail airplane on an airfield. The airplane was one of six that the Post Office Department purchased from the Standard Aircraft Corporation of Plainfield, New Jersey. Airmail pilot Max Miller painted a U.S. mailbag on the side of this airplane, numbered 1.
