Group of eleven unidentified letter carriers stand in front of the Concord, New Hampshire, post office. The post office, designed by James Riss Hill, was built in 1889. The carriers are posed with leather satchels full of mail and wearing uniforms, including caps with service badges, most in the wreath-style, that bear their individual identification numbers.
