Roundsman chest badge

U.S. Post Office Department City Delivery Service chest badge with vertical hinged pin attachment on verso. Spread eagle surmounts circular medallion with upper portion marked "POST OFFICE" and lower portion inscribed "NEW YORK N. Y." in raised block letters. Center of medallion bears a design incorporating a paddle and railway wheel with single wing in core and envelope at base of design. The skirt is marked "ROUNDSMAN."
