Letter from Jack Fogarty to Mary MacDonald

Corporal Jack Fogarty wrote this three-page letter to his pen pal Mary MacDonald on September 25, 1944 from the Netherland East Indies. His correspondence described his unit’s arrival and new station on this South Pacific island and he further illustrated a scene from camp on the envelope (Museum ID 2012.2006.34.1).
