The simple, text-only poster provided a detailed “Schedule for Mailing Christmas Parcels to Military Personnel Addressed to APOs and FPOs.” Ready for the rush of holiday mailings, this sign emphasized the extra time required for shipping to overseas destinations. It also included instructions on addressing, labeling, customs forms, restricted contents, as well as size, weight and packaging.
