Toy mailbox bank

Crafted in the shape of a city curbside collection mailbox, this small bank includes the embossed “U.S. Mail” markings on the sides and the notation “Detroit-1946” on the front. A small paper in the place of a pick-up schedule encourages the owner to “save early,” a variation on a theme commonly promoted by the Post Office Department to “mail early” during holiday seasons.
