GREENWOOD CAL semi-oval postmark with no outside ring (scarce) with manuscript Oct 13 embedded; manuscript "Paid 37" rate, to Copenhagen, Denmark. Backstamps include: New York Am. Packet Nov 11, Aachen double circle 23/11, Hamburg double circle 24/11, K.D.O.P.A. (Danish post office) Hamburg double circle 24/11, St. P.A. (Hamburg city post office) oval 24 Nov 54. The letter went from New York to Aachen via American Packet, then via Hamburg to Copenhagen. The method of transit from Greenwood to New York is not known.
