This postcard was mailed by a Marine during his training at Parris Island, South Carolina during World War II. Addressed to Reverend Floyd Leach of Connecticut, probably his hometown minister, the young Marine describes his enthusiasm for the gun skills he is learning. He ends the short note by saying he has to study for a test the next day.
