This Protectograph check protector machine was manufactured by G. W. Todd & Company, Rochester, NY. The Post Office Department used this device for money order business. Two rubber feet are missing from the four legs. Paper label on base is mostly torn away and missing instructions for operations and portion of the patent notice.
