Free Frank signed by Benjamin Franklin on cover (2005.2027.1.1) enclosed a second sheet upon which the letter commenced (2005.2027.1.2) and concludes on the reverse of the cover sheet. The letter was posted to John Hancock, Merchant of Boston, and written by a third party, but posted by Franklin, probably as a favor.
