Fairbanks Scale Company · 1930-1950
This weight is a round, low, metal disk with the markings "KV18" and an attached hook. It was found in the basement of the Mount Rainier, Maryland, post office next to a hundred-pound capacity Fairbanks scale. However, it may not have been original to that site because Mount Rainier's former postmaster, Adrian Huebner, collected such items from other sites.
