Letter to Rachel Walters from John Louderback

In May 1864, Sergeant John Louderback sent heartbreaking news to Rachel Walters that her husband had been take as a prisoner of war in Georgia. A second letter followed a year later informing her that David had died in a POW camp in South Carolina.
