CSA 10-cent dark blue Thomas Jefferson (CSA Scott 2), tied by Richmond, Virginia, November 11, 1861, circular date stamp on eleven-star flag patriotic envelope to Oxford, Georgia. The stamp was lithographed by Hoyer & Ludwig, Richmond, Virginia. The earliest known usage of a Hoyer & Ludwig printing is November 8, 1861.
