This blown and molded jar has a Baroque style blue and yellow cartouche with red and black lettering. The baked enamel label is marked SPIR MENTH. Infused spearmint leaves were used for this preparation which when infused with water acted as an antispasmodic. It was also used as a flavoring for foul tasting medicines.
