This wide-mouth drug jar has a yellow–gold cartouche in the jar’s center that frames an image of a man with his back turned away from the viewer. The man's hair is pulled back into a queue and tied with a ribbon at the neck. The cartouche, flanked by C-scrolls, is surrounded by realistically painted blue and yellow flowers with long thin stems and leaves. The decoration is similar but not identical to jar 1991.0664.573. The colors are muted on a white-glazed background.
