This blown and molded square shaped bottle is marked "MAGN NITRI". The Baroque-style baked enamel label is blue, yellow, red and black. The jar probably contained Magnesia Opalina. The Dictionary of Photopharmacology by J. Worth Estes, lists Magesia Opalina as a "form of Antimonium prepared with Sal Muriaticus and Niter."
