AQ CAPONIS

This blown and molded bottle has a label which reads <i>AQ CAPONIS</i> in black text, with the first initial of each word in red. The bottle would have held Aqua Caponis, or Capon Water. Capons are roosters castrated to improve the taste of their meat. The water is prepared by boiling a cleaned capon with borage, violet water, white wine, red rose leaves, and cinnamon.
